Hi Everyone! I’m Ms. Wander, a ⅘ Special Education teacher this year at P.S. 82Q. I was born and grew up in Floral Park (on Long Island) with my twin sister, Jacqueline. I love trying new foods, working out at the gym, hanging out with my friends, and going to the beach. My favorite color is purple and my favorite food is pizza.

This will be my 3rd year teaching at P.S. 82 and my 6th year teaching overall! I have a B.S. in Childhood Education with a concentration in Mathematics from LIU, C.W. Post and a M.S. in Special Education from CUNY, Queens College. I also have a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from St. John’s University.

I’m so excited to start another school year filled with laughs and learning. I love being a teacher because I am able to help students become the best that they can be! :)
