Hello P.S. 82 Q Families. I’m Mrs. Ganz. I have been a teacher at PS 82 for 19 years. This year I will be teaching the Kindergarten ICT class in the annex along with Ms. Marrinan. (Class: KA-2)

I earned both my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Common Branches at Queens College and my master’s degree in Teaching English As A Second Language from St. John’s University. I am certified in early childhood dance education as well. I am working towards my Leadership License and I hope to work at the District Office in the future.

I am proud to say I was a mentor at P.S. 82Q last year and I am blessed to have the chance to work with her this year in the same classroom. I absolutely love working with all of the wonderful teachers at P.S. 82Q.

I was born and raised in Queens and I now live on Long Island. I married my best friend, Mr. Ganz, in September 2000 and together we raised a beautiful daughter, Emily (14), who started high school this year.

When I’m not at P.S. 82Q, I love to read, write, dance, go running, walk my puppy (Sammie), and spend time at the pool, but my favorite thing to do is spend time with my large family by traveling all over the world. I have family in Alaska, Hawaii, California, South Carolina, and Texas; just to name a few.

I enjoy my students every year and I love when I arrive at the main building to hear my name, wave hello, and give high fives. I am honored to have touched so many young lives and have been given the chance to teach many of my colleagues own children. It has been very rewarding to me.

I am looking forward to another great year and I can’t wait to meet and get to know all of you.
