Hello P.S. 82 Q Family, I am Ms. Di Fava a third grade teacher. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelors in Elementary Education. I earned my masters in Teaching English as a Second Language at the College of New Rochelle. This year will be my 20th year at P.S. 82. I have taught grades 1,2, 4, and 6. My involvement at P.S. 82 does not end in the classroom, I serve on the School Leadership Team and am the UFT Chapter Leader. The best part of my job is the wonderful relationships I have made over the years with teachers, students and their families.

At home, I’m a proud mother to Maria (16) and GianCarlo (13). We spend a lot of our time either at dance competitions or soccer games. When I’m not cheering them on I am making and designing custom cakes. We spend a lot of family time around the dinner table and family events.
