Hello PS 82Q families! I am Ms. Michelle Caracappa, the STEM teacher at PS 82. For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a teacher. When I was little my neighbors and I always played school! I attended SUNY New Paltz for my undergraduate degree and Hofstra University for my master’s degree. I have been a teacher for 11 years but have been a part of the PS 82 community for 4 years. In the past years, I taught 2nd and 3rd grades.

When I am not in the classroom teaching, I love to be outdoors. I enjoy camping with my family and spending time at Elko Lake. I am married to my husband Michael and together we have 2 children, Mikey and Audrey. Anything that involves spending time with my family is the best!
